Charges at a faster rate that regular low amp chargers. I needed a high amp charger with a cigarette like input to plug in my GPS and this fit the bill nicely

i wish it had a on and off switch its just ok.

Can't tell you how many times this has come in handy. Nice to not have extra wires. Works great with two cell phones and GPS.

After a few months, it just failed. Never plugged in more than 1 item at a time...
