This is horrible! I tried to use it in my car with my android wouldn't recharge. I tried to use it on my iPad, wouldn't recharge. I tried to use it on my portable Sirius XM wouldn't recharge. I tried to use it on my portable blu-ray player wouldn't recharge. I tried to use it on my portable flashlight wouldn't recharge.
I found that the charger connection (the holes on either side of the USB connections) do not work with any of the car charger connectors!
I bought this because we were going camping & I wanted to be able to recharge more than one item at a time. COMPLETE FAILURE!!
I ended up having to recharge each item by itself through my car charger with out the capability of a multi-port USP car charger (aka going back to where I had originally started)!
If you need a MULTI-PORT USB CAR CHARGER: I found that it is best to just get the one that only has it for one type or the other.

I UNFORTUNATELY still HAVE NOT FOUND a multi port car charger for any of my other items that need to re-charge directly through my cigarette lighter (not able to use USB) and continue to re-charge these items as I drive one at a time. :(
